I work at the dreamiest toy store! ♥

Dear loyal followers,

I have been terrible at keeping you up-to-date with everything that has been going on in my life!  What a pathetic blogger I am!  But, the great news is that this blog post is about something that I love sooo much!  My job!  As you know, I am a BYU grad, and once I graduated, I got offered 3 jobs--one of them was a clothing retail sales job, another was a baby-photography position up at Thanksgiving Point. It would have been quite a drive, even though it offered lots of mula $$.  However, as soon as I walked into the magical place known as Blickentaff's, I knew that it was going to be my first choice.

Let me tell you, Blickenstaff's is everybody's toy fantasy.  Once you walk in, you won't know what to do.  With most of the new customers, it goes something like this, "Holy Cow Mom!", or "Oh my gosh!!!" or "LOOK AT THIS! COME OVER HERE AND LOOK AT THIS!!!!!"  The funny thing is, these are not all kids.   Adults, grandparents, and little tiny cute children alike, everyone loves this place!  It's a magical, glimmering place amongst the cold, dreary snow right now.  In fact, looking out its windows, the whole world looks brighter.

What is Blickenstaff's?  Let me show you:

That's right!!!!! :)  This is where I work!  I get to be around this amazing atmosphere, around happy, bubbling babies, wide-eyed children, reminiscent old people, and adoring parents! ♥  It's pretty much the best thing ever!  I'm going to be working a lot around Christmas.  We actually just put decorations up and it is absolutely cozier than the north pole, here! I'm a lucky girl!

Election Day

Our home has been constantly filled with the sound of Fox News, CNN and occasionally other news stations this past month.  Do you know why?!?! Well, the 2012 Elections, of course!  :)  We are strong Mitt Romney supporters.  Here's the problem.  America elected the wrong guy!  We have been in such a state of depression this week!  How will we ever get on with our lives?  We were headed towards having a wonderful president, someone who could turn the economy around, provide strong foreign policies and safety, and reverse Obamacare.  Then all the sudden, we re-elected Barack Obama!  What are you thinking America?! I hope that someday in the future, there will no longer be such a word as Obamacare.  Until then, the American people will have to own up to what they have chosen - an incompetent president, for another 4 years. That is that.

Dear Blog Readers,

It has been a looong time since I've posted!  Quite a few life-changing things have happened.  For one thing, my dream man is now my husband, and we live in a little apartment with our little fish, Ferris.  We were married on June 17, 2011 and it was the best day of my life--and it has been a great year and (almost) 5 months since!  :)  Below are a few highlight pictures since we've been married.  It's been an adventure!  First, here is a list of a few of the adventures we've had:

1. Wedding day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2.  Honeymoon! In the Bahamas!
3. We GRADUATED!!! woo!
4. Trip to Wisconsin and Chicago- Summer 2012.  We stayed with our friends Scott and Sarah
5. Down to the Tuachan in St. George- 2 trips for 2 shows - Aladdin and Hairspray. We got to stay with Allison's family and had a blast!  We also threw a Princess Party for Delaney's birthday!
6. We adventured to the deep south--of Utah.  We visited Bryce Canyon with Eric & Brittany, Ali and Justin.
7. We drove all the way up to West Valley to see Cirque du Soleil perform their show Quidam.  It was quite the "family" circus.

We've also got a few more trips scheduled before the end of the year....so be sure to tune in around Christmas time!

Also..Kaili got married as well, so now we're 2 best married friends! :) Wooo!
